Summary Group Presentations

 

Task:  Students will work together to create short presentations to inform their peers about the reading part (section) assigned.

 

Directions: 

  1. Read the Novel
  2. Collaborate with group member to summarize the events, characters, themes, conflicts, etc
    1. You need to decide what is the most important information
  3. Create a presentation with your group members
  4. Review information to ensure expertise on the information
  5. Present to other groups

 

Requirements:

Presentation:

  • Well organized, interesting, and engaging presentation
    • Use of images
    • Point form
    • Layout
  • Demonstrate expertise on topic
    • Summarized important events
    • Brief analysis of characters, events, conflicts, etc
    • Clearly communicate information

Group 2 - Part 2 & 3 (Pages 27 - 63)

Group 3 - Part 4 (Pages 63 - 85)

Group 4 - Part 5 (Pages 86 - 111)

Group 5 - Part 6 (Pages 111 - 139)

 

Products: A well organized and interesting presentation that summarizes the part assigned (2 minutes minimum - 5 minutes maximum)

 

Grading and Points: You will be summatively assessed on one rubric for 10 points
